Active Hope – How to Face the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy: webinar video

Here is the video of yesterday’s webinar which I hosted and which featured Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone.  I hope you enjoy it, and thanks to everyone who participated, logged in and who helped make it happen.  The feedback on the technology was great, and we’ll certainly be doing more of them in the near future.

I have a MacBook Pro OS X, version 10.5.8 so I can’t download 11.7 Adobe. So people around the world with older computers won’t be able to see this, if I’ve understood the technology correctly.

I think this is the same video:

This works in Firefox with HTML5; works better for me on debian than iceweasel.

Could you possibly also provide a simple download link to the video? The way you have it set up to play within a web browser does not work under Linux.

just watched the first half of this (needing to go to bed now!) and found it tremendously inspiring. This kind of ‘active hope’ has, I think, an equivalent in the spanish psyche – a quality for which they use the word ‘ilusion’. It’s a powerful orientation of the heart/mind towards a brighter future and was very much in evidence at the recent Transition Initiatives conference in southern Spain.
Thanks Rob for hosting the webinar!
