As a summer visitor to the Sharpham Barton camp I came upon this via facebook Transition Towns group. Looks like lots of good things happening in Totnes – evidently a higherpercentage of mike-minded souls than here in York. We havejust started discussion group ‘Greenspeak’ that is looking at ‘the Future of York’ this Fri Nov 9th atr Millers Yard Gillygate – anyone up this way welcome.

Have just discovered transitionculture.org today upon revisiting the Transition Towns project.

Good to read this series of events. Gave me a better picture on how the mind-changing process is done.

Best wishes,
Bowo

To update previous comment, York now has an active group working towards ‘unleashing event’ by the end of 2008. The Greenspeaks are still happening – we have had topics ranging from Energy policy to Peak oil. Will be down in Totnes in August for the Sharpham camp and will look out for any Transition town activities
