I gave my talk near the end of the second day, and as far as I could tell, it seemed to go down well. It was called *”Plan B – enabling relocalisation as a response to peak oil”* and looked at scenarios and relocalisation, as well as exploring the area of addictions in relation to peak oil. I told the story of the Kinsale Energy Descent Plan and gave an overview of what we are hoping to achieve in the Transition Town Totnes initiative. **Transition Town Totnes – Programme September – December 2006.**
We are delighted to announce the programme of events for the first 4 months of the Transition Town Totnes initiative. The project will develop, over the next 12 – 18 months, an Energy Descent Action Plan for Totnes, designing a positive way down from the oil peak, building on the work begun in Kinsale. It will strive to be inclusive, imaginative, practical and fun. We have put together a programme which combines inspirational speakers, many of whom will be visiting Totnes for the first time, film screenings, Open Space think tank days and much more.

**Meg Wheatley** spoke at Dartington’s Barn Cinema on Wednesday 14th June as part of Dartington Arts’ Arts and Ecology Lecture series. On Wednesday 14th June I interviewed Meg Wheatley and asked her the 8 questions developed for the *Skilling Up for Powerdown* project. I also did a longer interview which focused more on Energy Descent Plans, which I’ll post as soon as I get it transcribed.
